WHEN TO USE A RETROFIT SPIDER
Retrofit spiders are for people that have telescope
mirror secondary holders that have long center stalks
with collimation screws attached. These retrofit spiders
will not work for most commercial scopes. See the
picture below for an example of what it should look like.
